What I would love to do, is to own a Farm/Ranch.

On this Farm/Ranch I would raise Horses,Beef cattle,dairy cows,pigs,chickens,sheep,alpacas,dogs and also maybe some American Bison.

For the Farm section I would like to have a fruit orchard with different kinds of apples,pears,peaches,plums,nectarines,cherries, and grapes. I would also have a vegetable farm area, and would probably grow: beans,onions,tomatoes,potatoes,sweet corn,watermelon,cantalope,summer squash,pumpkins,cucumbers,herbs,strawberries,raspberries,and garlic. I would also grow field crops such as: corn,wheat,soy beans,hay grasses, and oats for the animals.

I would also have an area of the property for timber production. Which provides food and shelter for the wildlife, and also provides timber for the wood and paper industry.

Also I would like to help keep the rest of the property for the wildlife by planting food plots for the animals,trees to prevent erosion,and keeping the rest of the land forested or woods for the wildlife.

Another Idea I was thinking about for the ranch/farm was a hunting lodge. To help keep the wildlife from getting to overpopulated on the property. But would maintain the wildlife at certain levels for a healthy ecosystem. By also having the hunting lodge it could help support a local food bank with meat from the animals that are killed and also from the beef cattle that are butchered.

I would like to have a summer program for kids at the farm/ranch or day camps for kids. So they can be around animals and be in the country among other things, like ride horses, learn to plant a garden for food, how to care for the environment, etc..
