Certainly

By on 28 Sep, 09

On a certain day in a certain place
A certain woman was looking at a face
And suddenly, her life of uncertainty
Became a memory.

For as she listened to him she knew
Something unimaginable was coming true.
In the instant that she feels it start
She becomes aware of the beating of her heart

And a glow of warmth between her breasts
Expands with the rhythm of her breath;
Becoming a golden cord unseen
By anyone but her in this waking dream.

Tentative at first, from her chest it starts
then extends across space to touch his heart
And as it strengthens and continues to wind
All around them it tightly binds
Their destiny and their lives.

Because she knows with certainty
The present is the future's past
And from this moment love will last...

Lion and the Rose

By on 28 Sep, 09

At first it had been curiosity
a sense of fascination and intrigue
that drew her to him
that pulled her into his world.
But then, the more she learned
the more she wanted to know
because the more she knew
the more she knew that she liked
the way he treated her
the way he made her feel.
And the stronger her feelings
the more she came - to understand -
that she had always wanted someone
mature enough to recognize
the woman she had become,
experienced enough to see
the woman she was coming to be.
It is the feeling you get - now -
when you know
that someone is strong enough
to allow you to feel safe enough
to really let yourself go
sensitive enough
so that you can let your feelings show.
Someone to take you to that place
where all things are possible.
Where the rose is caressed by the lion
and the torrent of a waterfall plunges,
pounds deeply into a pool
of clear, warm, and fragrant waters.

who lies more?

Do women or men lie the most? Why does a woman tell you that she and her "male friend" are only friends yet she only talks to him on the phone when she is outside the home or when you're in the shower or mowing the lawn? Is it normal for them to speak 7 or 8 times a day? Trust me, I'm not naive, I would simply like some outside opinions.
