As for me Cairo allways was associating with pyramids only. But frankly speaking the pyramides themselves didn't impress me so much as the city itself. Especially it's moslem part - a lot of mosqueses, different people and what is the most important thing - tolerance.
I recommend everyone include this city in their "must see" list
